Live Review: Nude For Satan (1974)

I'm sorry my audio is so low, some may need to turn up your volume after the theme song. I'll try to correct that on the next one.

  1. Hey Rev. Another great view from you. I've heard a lot of mixed reaction to this film. Actually most has been very negative. I've met very few people that liked it. I've only seen it once. I think I was a little perplexed by it. There were parts I loved, but other parts that I thought were ridiculous or boring. I still think everybody should see it once. I never really thought about how much Rocky Horror is like it. Thanks for pointing that out. I do really like the score for this film. It is definitely one of the highlights.

  2. Keith - Yeah, it's not without its dull moments. Like you say, it is worth at least one viewing, if not for the score and the cool camera work.

Plus, you just have to love that ridiculous spider!

  3. REv., I own this DVD and watched it about five years ago, but I confess that I have completely forgotten it! I shall have to take a fresh look soon. But did you need more proof that the talent pool of Italian movie musicians is practically bottomless?

  4. You can say that again. With Italian flicks, even if the movie is shit--you can always rely on the score being fantastic.

  5. Funny Review Rev!
[I particularly liked. . . "leads to a girl-on-girl scene ~ eh, why not?"] too funny!

I mentioned before this is somewhere in my Netflix Queue - I think that I'll just let it find its way to the top eventually :-)

  6. I just watched this one. While my eyes were not glued to it, it was awesome looking. That 10min foot chase scene did have me turn away to play a game. Streaming on Netflix now, btw, as are some Rollin films.

Possible Spoiler - Did they pull that "it was all a dream" shit, or am I confused?
