Live Review: The Harder They Come (1972)

Here's my review for the cult classic and former "Midnight Movie", THE HARDER THEY COME.

Here is a taste of some tunes from the soundtrack as well...

  1. Hey Rev. That was a really cool video. I hate to say it that I had never even heard of this film before. You definitely inspired me to want to see it. I looked it up on Netflix and they've got it. The reviews for it up there are pretty good. I also enjoyed the songs you posted. Those are some cool tunes.

  2. It's fairly new to me as well. Like El Topo--I'd read about it for years in books and magazines about cult movies, but had never seen it. It's nothing mind blowing, but it's a good story with good music holding it togther.

Hopefully if you do watch it on DVD there will a subtitle option. Although the film is in English, the Jamaican accents are thick.
