I happen to fall into the category of people who love biker movies, and I'm also in the minority of people who LOVES Werewolves on Wheels!

There's no denying that this is an extremely flawed movie, which is putting it lightly, but there's just something about it that hits the spot with me. The soundtrack, the California desert, etc. If you haven't checked it out yet, I recommend watching the film with the director's commentary track... he makes NO excuses for the film and even goes so far as to point out what's wrong with the movie (as if it needed pointing out, but it's the thought that counts).

This movie also has a connection to the Peter Fonda/Warren Oates western, The Hired Hand. Severn Darden and an actor who played one of the Devil's Advocates in WWOW both star in it. Apparently a small group of actors in WWOW used to run in the same circle as Fonda, Hopper, and all those guys in the 70s.

Biker flicks kick ass, and this one is no exception. There is just something about it though. Didn't know about The Hired Hand connection...interesting.
