While they are not as sick, I get a little put off by Coffy and Foxy Brown. Pam is always getting pillaged by the man in those. They are not that kind of revenge film exactly, but it always bugs me.

IIRC, the star of ISoYG drives into the town in a green car, goes into a store, and then drives away in a completely different green car. Maybe I was imagining things?

I think I saw this in high school, and just barely remember it, save the bathtub phallectomy scene. The boat/axe kill does look pretty sweet.

Being a fan of Sade, I like to think the authors of such work are decrying the acts written, but you know guys have been stroking it to this stuff forever.
